Yes, prayer success can be the result of Positive Thinking; but it can and often is God's answer to prayer. Difficult to know the difference, but I have felt the true result of God's answer when there was no way positive thinking could have been the driving force.

Yes. I agree. When I read the book I recognized the voice. Not everyone will.

I admit my ignorance; Reiki is something of which I had never heard. One description I found states "Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery."

It takes me a real stretch of imagination to believe that. But it, and other similar practices, I believe, seem to be effective, if they are believed in, are just a manifestation of the power of positive thinking.
