The Academy is based on the idea that you have free will. You can choose what you you think. Therefore, if given good reason/evidence you can make better decisions. You can change your life.
If you don’t have free will, you are stuck. Like the dog in the picture, you can’t give up what you already believe. No matter what evidence is presented, you will not change your mind. In fact, people who are stuck often get upset.
I’ll give you an example. A friend of mine shared a post on Facebook about social security. It was the standard nonsense about it being your money and the government had wasted it, blah, blah, blah. I told him that the post was nonsense and gave him the link to my article on social security.
He could not accept that he was wrong, even after pointing everything out and providing the history. In fact, I couldn’t tell that he had read the article.
He is obviously NOT going to be a reader/learner at Spiz Academy. If you like to look at things from a different angle, you may find you like it here. If you disagree with what you see, feel free to comment. Most articles are free. Some require a paid membership to comment.
There is no advertising on Substack. Substack and I make money on subscriptions. So, occasionally I provide content for paid subscribers only.

Right now, I’m studying for the general ham radio license. I passed the technician license last year. I want to apply what I’m learning to how our body works. Do we pass information/control our bodies similar to radios? I think so.
I’m planning to offer more video content this year. Still working on the home studio but hope to have it running soon.
