In my last post on the power of positive thinking, I focused on the RV my brother-in-law was purchasing. Our hope was that the dealer would fix the problem and I would give Chris a ride back to Everett to get it.
Chris sent me a text yesterday. “They just dropped off my campervan by trailer. So you are off the hook. I took it for a test drive and no vibration!”
Does how we think determine our outcome?
How we think determines how we act. How we act influences what others think of us. What they think of us determines their actions. Their actions affect our outcomes.
In the case described above, Chris and the dealer parted company nodding and shaking hands. The dealer wanted a happy customer. Chris wanted a solid RV.
It could have gone much differently. They could have both become upset. Even if the RV had been fixed and delivered, the upset would have affected both parties physically. How we think affects our health.
The choice is yours. As for me, I try to stay positive.
