I encourage you to search for “has World War III already begun.” In the opinion of many, it has.
While the U.S. presidential candidates campaign on the economy, immigration, and abortion, nobody is talking about the wars and what to do about them. One thing is clear, the world has seen more militant fighting during the last four years than in the previous four.
Yet, half the people in the U.S. are willing to vote for the status quo.
To steal former President Obama’s words in another context, “That is unacceptable.”
The conflict in the middle east was on the news nearly every night of the Obama administration. For about a week, we had nightly news of people illegally crossing the southern border. During the Trump administration, nightly news was about persecuting Trump and Trump’s policies in one form or another. War was no longer a headline. Although President Trump was building a wall on the southern border, it became okay for immigrants to illegally cross the border, according to the news.
As I continue to say, let me control your data and I will control what you think.
Those who pay attention to the “news” for their data, often fail to look behind the news. Who benefits? As I have been told in many different contexts, follow the money. Who benefits from perpetual wars? Follow the money.
In the campaign for president, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. was shut out of the Democrat primaries by lawsuits from the Party. After attempting to contact Vice President Harris, to no avail, he tried Former President Trump. The result was a meeting between Trump and Kennedy and an alliance was formed. Kennedy’s focus is on health. He has been quite vocal against current healthcare policies. Healthcare is now the biggest driver of our federal deficit. Medicare and National Defense are tied at 13% of the federal expenditures. “Health” is an additional 14%. Follow the money.
Trump continues to extend his base. Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democrat, has also switched sides to endorse Trump.
I personally dislike Trump’s name calling and insulting others. However, continuing the current administration’s activities is unsustainable.
When I was in college, Democrats were the people who were saying, “Question authority.” They were the party of little guys, blue collar workers, unions. Now they are the party of forcing everyone to wear masks and get shots - no questions asked. I never thought the Democrat party would be the party of big business that failed to question the government. What happened?
Spot on. This is exactly where we are at today, it seems we are at an inflection point or a shifting of the parties in a big way.
Secondarily, The mental state of Biden is beyond normal - as is the state of republican leader Mitch McConnell; we need energy, wisdom and well spoken leaders who have a real vision and can articulate.
Great article !!
